Yeah, I don't like Scout either. I'd be perfectly happy in a match with Scout disabled ---and while I don't think most players would notice, doing that usually gets people started talking about turning off classes that are more critical.
I also really enjoy getting a body hit on a Scout, with a rocket, at a distance ---but that's a low enough percentage shot, that I can't really recommend it.
I have to admit, I will play Scout, when a match is
less than 5v5. . . I go around baseball-batting people, rather than capping or whatever, though. I figure less than 5v5 is "practice" ---I get pretty annoyed, when people act as though 4v3 is a full match.
@STETRII: Yeah, the Host can turn Crits off, but I've also played matches where --through some kind of hack/bug-- a [random?] player gets Host privledges, for that stuff. I guess that's better than a Hack that allows Crits to be turned off, for just one team ---but it could take awhile to figure it out, if someone actually did
that one.
I really wish Valve had condescended to give us a manual, for the game. You have to read through tons of stuff on-line, to find mention of what's different, between the PC and console versions.
